Hanging indents are often used when numbering, bulleting, or creating a bibliography. Type the amount you want to indent from the left margin in the Left field type the amount you want to indent from the right margin in the Right field.Ī hanging indent indents each line of a paragraph, except the first line, by the amount you specify.
